  1. Leave Me Alone

From the recording Leave Me Alone

I had just heard Jason's recording of High On Yesterday and felt I had to do something with a sax track. So here it is. It also gave me an excuse to use the line "don't leave me lonely".
Anyone who doesn't get the idea that the protagonist of this song is a lazy, self-centered idiot, should take a class in Song Interpretation. And give us back the lifetime supply of asparagus.
Sax solo, drums and vocals by Jason. Piano, bass, and backing sax by me.
Mixed and mastered by Jason.

Lyrics

Leave Me Alone

Don’t leave me lonely girl just leave me alone
Man things are takin’ my time
I need your lovin’ when I’m blue to the bone
When I call you, meanwhile don’t get out of line
Now just hold on ‘til I NEED you, baby

Until I call you darling leave me alone
Until I need you honey leave me alone
Until I want you baby leave me alone
Leave me alone
Now did I ask for you yet, sugar-pie?  No!

Now you can cook for your man three squares a day
Easy I’m watchin’ my weight
I got the Yankees on, get out of my way
Won’t be long now, we’re in the top of the eighth
Now don’t screw up the instant replay, too.  C'mon!

Until I call you darlin’ leave me alone
Until I need you honey leave me alone
Until I want you baby leave me alone
Leave me alone
All right now...
I didn’t say you was fat, you’re just blockin’ the TV, the wide-screen TV

Looks like you cleaned me out of my house and home
Don’t you tell me that’s the price that I pay
Now come on back, baby, I promise I’ll do somethin’ better

I’m callin’ darlin’ please don’t leave me alone
I  need you sweetie-pie don’t leave me alone
I want you right away don’t leave me alone
Just what was you thinkin’ when you walked out like that?
Now just tuck yourself back into that kitchen, ye hear?
I never said you was homely, I said eh “HOLD me”
I’m sorry, honey, you know I love ye, even more than Conan

I’m callin’ darlin’ please don’t leave me alone
I  need you sweetie-pie don’t leave me alone
I want you right away don’t leave me alone
